We had received this for review. I knew my 7 year old son would just love this for his room and I was so right! He loves finding the different countries and scratching off the coating from the map to reveal the country underneath. The compass which is included comes in handy not only for the map but also for scouting and taking hikes. He is learning about different parts of the world as well as the states. This map has it all and is the perfect size for his bedroom wall. I must say that unfortunately there was no scratch tool included in the package...we had to use one of our own. It was supposed to be in the package but wasn't and we were not able to get in touch with the manufacturer. But overall it was no big deal.

The coating is much like a scratch off lottery ticket. The map comes in a sturdy tube and compass was inside of the tube along with the map. Overall I give this product 4 stars instead of 5 but only because it didn't include the tool that was supposed to be in the package. The map is a great educational tool though. #promotion
